THE PERFORMANCE FACTOR
The performance of the Windows Vista is extremely bad and also with the availability of the Windows XP with the Service pack 2 or 3, the Windows requires twice the hardware to that of the XP. Due to the UI attachment being turned off and the background facility being disabled, Vista has come out to be 40% slower than the XP.
Without the up gradation of the hardware of the Windows XP if you try to upgrade your PC from Windows XP to Vista, then your PC will no doubt cripple. The point of usability and manageability are two important points for jumping from Vista to XP but upgradation of your hardware just for the sake of maintaining your status is a bit silly point.
THE CONCLUSION
Answering a simple question will lead you to the decision: Will you prefer to throw your brand new hardware cycles at Microsoft’s code bloat and voracious appetite for CPU bandwidth or go in for a tangible improvement that can be measures in application by way of user productivity?
