The game thus, received MIXED reviews from all where some gave it very NICE rankings while others gave it AVERAGE rankings.

THE END
If the RED SUIT ending has been chosen by the player then the Spider-Man while activating the device at the Trask Building on its top, he destroys all the symbiote in anyone. The symbiote of Spider-Man is cleared from him with the city being saved. The end of the game shows Spider-Man reflecting the past events of the week with his love interest Mary Jane.
WHEREAS
If the BLACK-SUIT ending is chosen by the player then the Spider-Man while destroying the device at the Trask Building on its top, pushes it from the pinnacle so that it is made to fall in the streets. The symbiote of the Spider-Man and all the other citizens is left to rule the city with the Spider-Man as the leader of the symbiote, joining his old love interest Black Cat. The end of the game shows the Black Widow appointing Wolverine who is symbiote infected to find and kill Spider-Man.

THE DISTINCT FEATURES OF THE PS2 AND PSP
The PS2 and PSP versions of the game offer a 2.5D SCROLLER game rather than a FREE-ROAM game as it is with the XBox 360, PS3, Wii and PC. Spider-Man gets the option to choose anyone between the BLACK Suit and Red Suit anytime in the gameplay.
You can choose the DIALOGUES of the Spider Man while in between conversations which has the full ability to affect the story of the game.
The STORY is also a little DIFFERENT.
