THE YET ANOTHER MODE
Left 4 Dead features another mode called the VERSUS mode having a maximum of 8-player where the extra four players act as the Boss Infected.
The Infected players get a message that tells them the player that will be controlling it.
The Infected players can see the Survivors via walls whenever it runs, talks or fires whereas a survivor who stays very much quiet by walking his way instead of running will not be seen by the Infected.
The Infected can see in dark.

THE MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS OF THE GAME

Left 4 Dead has been featuring the all new Valve Source engine with the latest unique version and a multi-core processor support, new and improved animation and better AI.
Lighting in the game has been made to be improved.
Then there are the Wet surfaces and the fog.
The game initially had to have another Boss Infected named “Screamer” who would never attack but whenever he saw a Survivor, and then he would go to take shelter to a safe place, going there and screaming loudly to call the Infected.
There was also the narrative between the campaigns but the idea had been dropped off later in the game.
Left 4 Dead also features a Split screen and System Link play.

Maximum at a time, not more than four players can play the game including:
Francis who is a biker with lots of tattoos, voiced by Vince Valenzuela;
Zoey who is studying in a college being a great movie enthusiast, voiced by Jen Taylor;
Louis who is at the post of a Junior System Analyst in the IT department of his company, voiced by Earl Alexander and
Bill, who was previously, was a Green Beret and a veteran from Vietnam, voiced by Jim French.
The players can choose any character they want until unless it has not been assigned to any other player.
The ammo is unlimited for the pistols.
There are also the melee attacks that the players can make use of.
The player will come across many powerful weapons in between the game which include: M16A3 assault rifle, Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun and Ruger Mini-14 rifle. The player can maximum carry firearms with another three items are chosen from a Molotov cocktail, a first-aid kit and the pain pills.

THE ENEMIES
The enemies are the Infected that within the game will be fast, agile, individually weak but very strong when present in groups.
Adding onto the enemies you will have four “Boss Infected” who are very dangerous.
The Boss Infected will have a different type of sound along with a musical cue so that the players can recognize their presence.

The Hints

THE FOLLOWING HINTS MAY HELP UYOU SURVIVE THE ULTIMATE TEST

Fire
The fire can be used to advantage from it. The Infected cannot disable the fire so they should make use of the Molotov Cocktails to put fire on the gas tanks that will rescue the enemies like the Tanks and Witches.

Pain Pills
Along with the wounds; the speed of the character to move also slows where to eliminate this problem for a short period one can make use of the Pain Pills.

The Unbreakable achievement
When the gamer is playing the game on the easy mode, the player will have to make an escape from the battles, letting the AIs to fight against the enemies and if the AI heals you, you will have to die and restart it all over again.

Reloading
At the time of reloading, the players have the ability to do melee attacks to keep yourself safe even when you are surrounded by the enemies and you have the urgent need to reload.

Swapping Weapons
The player can reload the ammo quicker than anyway by picking a different weapon and then selecting the weapon of your choice.
