THE STORYLINE OF FALLOUT 3
The player goes to the Vault 112 to find his father to protect him from Vault Oversees who then go to the Rivet City to meet Doctor Li. They then make discussions for the Garden of Eden Creation Kit (G.E.C.K.) which is a device which is expected to be inside the computer database of the Project Purity. The Enclave comes to the place where he sees the duo trying their best to switch on the lab equipment. The father of the player kills many of the members of the Enclave and in the process gets killed too. The player along with Doctor Li escapes through the scene and reach the Citadel of the Brotherhood of Steel. Then Doctor Li requests the player to find a G.E.C.K so that the work of his father gets completed. The player finds that device in the city of Vault 87 after which the player is captured by the Enclave. After getting back to his consciousness, the Colonel Autumn cross questions the player. The player gets attacked by the Enclave soldiers who are ordered this task by the Colonel Autumn after which the player has to fight and reach the control room. After fighting from them, the player has to make a decision to activate the virus or not. Then he makes his way out of the Enclave to reach Citadel and then he has to fight from Colonel Autumn. Doctor Li informs the player that because of the damage, the virus had to be activated but the fact remains that the person who goes to activate the virus will have to give his life in return as the chamber gets closed. The end is of three types like the player either waits for what had to be done or ask the Lyons to do it or do it himself. The end depends basically on the decisions that the player takes in between the game.

THE STORYLINE OF FALLOUT 3
The player takes up the role of the Vault 101 Dweller who after turning19 years old find that his father was no where to be seen and had vanished from his sight making things go mysterious. The story begins with the player trying to find his father and the reason for his sudden disappearance.
The player is then forced to go away from the village of Vault with the next suspect being him. In search of his father named James, the player goes via the wasteland to a town, a station, Rivet City which was previously an aircraft but presently the humans had been settled there for shelter. At this place, the player encounters Doctor Li who is a scientist friend of James working with him and informs the player about a project named Project Purity, the aim of which was to eradicate the radiation from the water of the Tidal Basin so that the environment is favorable for living for the villagers.
