The release date is September 12, 2008 September 16, 2008. The genre of the game is first person shooter, action. Modes of the game are single player and multiplayer. Media required is DVD, Steam download. Inputs required are keyboard and mouse or Xbox 360 controller.

Crysis Warhead is a first person shooter game which is developed by Crytek Budapest and is publ. by Electronic Arts as an expanded version of Crysis.

The Game Crysis Warhead:

It updates the game play of the original game through a way involving Psycho which is one of the last protagonist Nomad’s allies. It is the parallel that involves sergeant Psycho Sykes which is a character from the original Crysis. As he is facing his own challenges on the other side of the island in the previous game. It gives an intro. of new weapons and vehicles and even enemies along with the multiplayer options for the net gaming. It also features the new version of Cry Engine 2 and it is even the first attempt by the Crytek’s Budapest studio.

The Add On in Warhead:

The company has given stress on the multiplayer modes also rather than the single player campaign which is given a title of Crysis Wars. The new game also gives a brief of Team Instant Action Mode and even 21 more playable maps after release. It has made many important changes to the multiplayer which includes better vehicle controls, nano suits alterations and many more things that come to notice. The Crysis Wars include an independent disc and even has a separate installer and the logo used. From 10th to 12th of October 2008 crytek gave a golden opportunity to download Crysis Wars for free.

The Story Line of Crysis Warhead:

The game takes place when he original crisis is taking place, which is being held on the other side of the island which we haven’t explored. As an introduction sergeant psycho sykes saw a Korean warship being attacked by us planes. Leaving it, he joins the team going from the jungle and helps to defend it as KPA colonels men were attacking it. The convoy atlast gets destroyed and the soldiers have to fight them in the night. The introduction comes to an end when the VTOL tries its best to destroy the convoy’s soldiers but it gets attacked by a missile and is crashed. After all this Sykes has to pursue the container from the north Koreans have that JSOC believes it contains nuclear arms.

After sometime psycho meets heis old friend O’Niell who was made to be a part of the RAPTOR TEAM but he was sent back cause of failing in the evaluation test after all this psycho helps O’Niell a lot to get to the VTOL to escape. Psycho gives his best to stop the Koreans from taking away the container as he goes through jungle against the KPA. After all the struggle when he reaches the submarine as his destination he is blasted away by an alien with the EMP blast. After he wake up he brutally treated by the Koreans and colonel lee. After that the island is attacked by an unidentified alien which froze the whole island psycho makes his best chance and follow lee through all the difficulties but land up and meet with another team of NANO SUITS which was named as team eagle. They continue to fight with the exo aliens. 

The team gets off from psycho in a mine but still psycho is on his way to find the container. Atlast his work gets a fruit and he finds the train on which the container is kept and his orders are to board the train and he keeps on fighting with KPA and aliens which are in chase of the container and when the situation is out of hand he ordered that he should destroy the container if he is not able to capture it. Before the friendly forces could find the container colonel lee persues with a hostage and psycho is forced to get off the train with the detonator but before he could detonate the train lee escapes from the train. Psycho takes off his stress on the injured Korean soldier which he pulled off from the bridge and in his rage he gets an emotional break down but he regains his senses to finish the mission. 

Psycho attacks the airfield from where the container was going to be taken off the island fighting with unlimited ground forces and the armor of the KPA. O’NIell guides psycho to destroy the upgraded alien exo suit with the help of a crashed USAF plane, which was transporting a deadly weapon. As they were about explore the container lee shows up again to fight for the container and he holds the O’Niell at his gunpoint. He treid to shoot O’Niell but he was stopped by psycho and starts fighting with lee and O’Niell takes control of the VTOL and takes the container with him. Psycho begins to fight with lee and gets a upper hand and push lee back of the plane and psycho relaxes in the plane.

*About the Expansion:

The original Crysis was declared as a trilogy but the is not the part of that trilogy it is zan independent expansion back though the amount of content it has is far more than the normal packs.

It is declared by the company that the expansion works far more better than the original crisis even its graphics are imulsifying with the news that the minimum requirements of the game is almost same as the original crisis except the hard disk requirement which is now 15gb.
