The music and the soundtrack of the Sims 3 is produced and composed by Steve Jablonsky and the recording company, Symphony.

THE DELAY THAT HEATED UP THE GAMERS
It seems now, that the delay of the Sims 3 was worth it. It had been announced that the Sims 3 would be released somewhere around the 20th of February, 2009 in the United States and the 5th of June, 2009 in the United Kingdom. The extra time was taken so that the game can be polished and tuned, tune and tweak the game.

THE SIMS MANIA
At the time of the release of the Sims 3, there was such a mania of the Sims that there was the launch of the t shirts etc.

CRITIC REVIEWS OF THE SIMS 3
The Sims 3 sold almost around 1.4 million copies in the very first week which shows that this is the most successful game meant for the PC.

It has been the top selling game in Australia.

The critics favored the game calling it the most successful, different and an outstanding game from the Sims.

Metacritic gave the game 87 out of 100.

PC Gamer gave The Sims 3 92% and Editor’s Choice award.

IGN PC gave The Sims 3 8.9 out of 10.

GameScore gave the game 9 out of 10.

FEATURES OF SIMS 3

The outside world of the neighborhoods can be explored by the player and can interact with each and every building in their neighborhoods. Players mostly, cannot look inside the buildings and get a view of it.

The skills of the Sims include guitar playing, painting, writing, singing etc. The skills can be advanced by way of reading a book about the skill or taking classes at the civic building about the skill. Even at the young age, the toddler can develop a skill but the meter does not show any kind of increment. It will be added in the rewards as the child grows up into an adult.

There are a lot of career options for the Sims now like they can go to do part time jobs, do overtime and thereby, get a salary increment.

The character of the Sim can be modified and recreated. They get new features like changing the footwear, headwear, getting freckles, get thin, get fat or get regular body type, change the skin colour, the pitch and the tone of the voice, clothes etc.

There are also some traits and characteristics that affect the way the Sims behave like a Sims who is clumsy may break everything around him, an angry Sim may annoy the other Sim and they can also interact with other Sims.

The furniture can also be coloured in different shades ad patterns to make them look more attractive.

THE BASIC FEATURES YET NEW AND LATEST

In this new Sims 3, what the player would do inside the house would be equally important a what you would do outside the house.

There is also a new feature in this game called the “Story Progression” in which all the characters of the Sims who are not entitled to play will play the game as if the player is controlling them. They would get the opportunity to get married, get a job, get promotions, have children etc.

There are also mood lets in the Sims 3 which has two aspects: positive and negative affected by the factors such as sitting in a comfortable chair, eating a good meal etc.

There is the new wish system in the Sims 3 wherein the fulfillment’s of one wish would add to the lifetime happiness score of the Sims and thereby, purchase the rewards.

The life period of the Sims is limited for some duration of time. They can die either at an old age or at a premature age due to certain factors like starvation, fire, drowning etc.
