A few times Microsoft has also produced exclusive editions of the console, basically to co relate with the produce of a major product. They are specially colored x-box models with only limited production.

*released on 17th September 2007 halo 3 was announced at the E7 2007 press conference by  Microsoft. It has Halo 3 theme on the console, wired headset and wireless controller n play n charge kit. Along with that, “Spartan green and gold” color scheme, exclusive dashboard theme and downloads, and a HDMI port… its features are more like that of the premium system it is priced at US$399.99 and £279.99 (the original price of the Xbox 360 Premium).

•A special yellow x box was designed by Microsoft to promote the Simpson’s movie. The only difference between premium n the new one was the wireless controller. The consoles were to be given out to winners of drawings taking place between July 18, 2007 and July 27, 2007, in which a name was randomly drawn each day in the “10 Days and 10 Chances to Win” sweepstakes.. This was a limited edition.

COMPATIBILITY

It’s compatible with the zone posted by the Xbox official website. It can play media files only form an update available on Xbox live or form the official website form zone. It’s also compatible with the apple I pod as is plays MP3 files natively n unprotected AAC files with the installation of Optional Media Update available on Xbox live while protected AAC files aren’t supported. The Xbox 360 will use the I Pod’s database for media information and works with both Windows (FAT32) and Mac (HFS+) formatted I Pods. Pictured saved in the I pod are available while the videos and pod casts aren’t supported.

HARDWARE

The main unit of this product itself has slight double concavity in matter black or white. A custom housed hard drive unit can b attached n sizes of eider 20, 60 or 120 GB to a port on the top. Triple core IBM designed XENON is used as its CPU. ATI Xenon, with 10 MB of DRAM, handles the graphic handling.
