THE VISTA AND ITS SOFTWARE
The core of the Windows Vista has recently undergone a lot of modifications as many of the applications will now be able to work with Vista. Though, there exists no guarantee. Before upgrading the Windows one should try any software with it.
The improvements in the Vista include the process scheduling and thread pooling along with a deadlock protection mechanism and hardware partitioning for virtualization support being added along with certain more features.

The points of issues are mentioned below:
Many of the video software like the DivX could not be installed anymore as they require the new versions. The WinAMP 5.32 media player also shows an error at startup, though it works properly later. Quake IV has the capability of being executed with the installation program not working properly. Some softwares like the firewalls, anti-spyware and anti-virus software needs to be Vista-Ready and should be used on the Vista only if they are specially designed for it otherwise it may create problems.
